Log the session as it happens

Log trials, prompt levels, behaviors, and ABC data during the session, on your phone or computer. When the session ends, the record is already complete.

The Proaba app is available in English and Portuguese.

Every plan step, trial by trial

The session shows the plan's ongoing steps. For each one, record the trials: independent, prompted, or incorrect.

    • The step criterion appears alongside it, such as "a minimum of 10 trials, including 2 independent responses"
    • The session indicates when the criterion was met
    • Navigate between dates to view or continue other sessions

    On mobile, during the session

The record was designed for the therapist to enter on the fly, with one hand, without stopping the session.

    • Same session on phone and computer
    • Session recording from the screen itself, when enabled for the child

Behaviors with the correct data collection technique

Register each behavior with a name, operational definition, and clinical goal, and record occurrences using the most appropriate technique.

    • Frequency: how many times it happens
    • Duration: how long it lasts
    • Latency: how long it takes to start after instruction
    • Intensity: behavior strength on the team scale
    • Contextual event: the episode recorded with its context

Clinical goal to increase, decrease, or maintain, maximum occurrences before alert, and marking of behavior risk and intervention target.

ABC data in the record itself

When an incident requires functional analysis, log the antecedent, behavior, and consequence without leaving the session workflow.

    A

    Antecedent

What happened before, including the type of prompt: verbal, gestural, modeling, physical, or independent.

    B

    Behavior

What the child did, with the collection technique measure, date and time, and attachments, if any.

    C

    Consequence

How the environment responded, whether reinforcement was withheld, and clinical observations of the occurrence.

    The record feeds the rest

What was entered in the session appears in the plan's charts, in the recorded session summary, and in the session PDF.
